“Painting ‘en plein aire’ and not in my studio, allowed me to study the amazing colors and shapes everywhere around me. Nature and being out-of-doors have deep-rooted values for me. Capturing the beauty of my environment was an instructing exploration. Those efforts taught me much of what painting is all about.”
